Born and raised in central Indiana, Becky has always had a strong passion for sports and a variety of fitness activities. Starting ballet, tap dance and swimming by age five; discipline and hard work were instilled early in her life. After juggling multiple sports simultaneously, she settled into her fourteen year career as a competitive swimmer. She followed her older siblings’ footsteps to Lexington, Kentucky, to be a part of the University of Kentucky swim team.
Once she decided to hang up her suit, Becky was anxious to find a fitness regimen that would be convenient to her busy schedule and maintain her athletic physique. A personal trainer referred her to Pure Barre to experience the unique and challenging workout that she was in search of. She immediately fell in love with the technique and the results, which she started seeing after a few weeks of taking classes. After two years of being a dedicated client in Lexington, Becky had the honor to be trained as an instructor in the Fall of 2010.
Becky is excited and honored to bring Pure Barre back home to central Indiana and to share the life changing technique that is her passion. She is the daughter of Kurt and Rachel Retrum who have supplied endless support and encouragement to her. Becky resides in Carmel Indiana.
