Kelly Shuman has been involved in competitive sports for most of her life. At age 8 she began training rigorously in gymnastics at the club level and moved into an elite program shortly thereafter, eventually becoming a two-time national competitor. Kelly still pursues her passion for gymnastics through coaching competitive gymnastics for the Auburn club organization. Her love of sports and support of her alma mater can be seen each Saturday in the fall as Kelly and her husband cheer on the Auburn Tiger football team.
Kelly was first introduced to Pure Barre by her sister, Courtney, who invited her to take a class at the Birmingham location. It was love at first stretch. Kelly knew right away she wanted to find a way to share Pure Barre experience with her friends in Auburn. She and Courtney decided to join forces, and are very excited to open the first Auburn Pure Barre location and share the experience with Tiger Community.
