Leslie Coakley is a Nashville, Tennessee native where she grew up always involved in some form of organized sports or athletics. As she got older she focused her time on Competitive Cheerleading where she traveled with her team to competitions all over the southeast. She attended the University of Mississippi where her passion and interest in health and fitness grew. After college, she moved back to Nashville to pursue a job in Elementary Education but quickly adjusted her plans when she found Pure Barre. Starting as a Pure Barre client when Nashville's green hills studio opened, she decided this was unlike anything else she had ever tried, and she was hooked. Shortly after, she was asked to train as a teacher, and everything else is history. Leslie is committed and passionate about helping different types of people achieve their "best self". She is truly amazed at the way Pure Barre quickly changes your body and mind, and is honored to be able to bring this technique to the people of Manhattan.
