Lindsey Girardot-Teets grew up in Castle Rock, CO. She was extensively trained in ballet, jazz, hip-hop and lyrical at Starstruck Dance Academy in Denver. At the age of 17, Lindsey moved to Los Angeles to be a professional actress and dancer. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a creative writing degree in English, which lead her into becoming a singer/songwriter and picking up a guitar. Her success in television and film included the Dell computer campaign, various feature films and a performance at the CMT awards with Trace Adkins. In 2009, Lindsey met Carrie Rezabek who trained her in an innovative method of personal fitness at the very first Pure Barre in Los Angeles - Brentwood, California. It was at Pure Barre that Lindsey’s love for fitness flourished—she spent 6 years as a Pilates trainer— but it was with Pure Barre that music, choreography and people came together. Later that year, Lindsey would decide to bring the Pure Barre concept to her native Colorado, opening the first studio in Cherry Creek North. The instant success of the first studio brought two more studios—Highlands and Lone Tree—enabling Lindsey to teach and train over 6000 women in the Denver metro area. “I’m extremely thrilled by the success of these three studios,” explains Lindsey. “I can’t believe it happened, really. It’s a testament to the magic of Pure Barre.” In 2012, Lindsey’s life would take another turn towards spectacular when she was hired by Pure Barre's corporate team to help train Pure Barre teachers nationally. And, during the summer of 2012, Lindsey Girardot became Lindsey Girardot-Teets, marrying long-time boyfriend Brad in the Rocky Mountains. Lindsey is the proud momma to her dog, Hazel, and is very happy to be doing what she loves in the state that she calls home.
