Pure Barre has struck again! This time in Hoover, Alabama… more specifically the Riverchase area! We are THRILLED to be open and running with full schedules and happy hearts!
First lets talk about Pure Barre around town. There are other Pure Barre locations around Birmingham, so some of you may be familiar with the Pure Barre technique…but others, not so much! What do you do in class? You will warm up in the center of the room with light weights, exercises consisting of small isometric movements at the barre to tone your thighs, seat and abs with stretching sections in between, final ab work in the center of the room and end with stretching.
We listen to fun, fast beat, energetic music and there are new moves and workout series for each class! No workout is ever the same… especially with our instructors; all 8 of them!
Come to class about 10 minutes early to get set up and ready. Wear pants or capris and a top that covers your midriff to keep your muscles warm for stretching. Also, we wear sticky socks that allow you to maintain your foot placement on the carpet the entire class. The socks also keep in your body heat which allows for a better stretch, flexibility and muscle toning.
