You know what they say: Home is where the heart barre is. Whether you’re traveling or staying local for the holidays, Pure Barre is there to make your season merry and bright. Here’s five ways to find home at any studio, even if you’re just around for a few days!
Keep up your workout schedule by planning ahead. No really, do it right now: Check out the Pure Barre location page to find the nearest studio to your travel plans! Instead of risking missing out from a too full holiday schedule or too full Pure Barre class, book early and make it part of your visit ahead of time.
Bring A Friend
Don’t think you can find the time? Double up your plans! Get a friend, sister, cousin – a whoever! – on-board and share your LTB love with someone. Passing along your own Pure Barre tips and knowledge will make you feel comofortable, even if you’ve never been to the studio!
Treat It Like Your First Class
Whether you’ve taken 2 or 200 classes, you’re technically a new client all over again. Get to know the studio ahead of time: Check out the route and parking situation, follow them on social media, arrive 15 minutes early to fill out your new client form and discuss any injuries with your teacher. Make it a fun experience instead of a hectic one!
Walk Away Wiser
Now that you’ve made it, be 100% present. Experiencing a new space and teacher can challenge your body in new ways if you’re open to it. Try to walk away with at least one new nugget of information to take back home. From a cue that you’ve never heard before to switching up your spot in the room, there’s an infinite amount of opportunities to understand your body, mind and movement better.
Don’t Forget A Momento
New studio, new barre swag – ‘Tis the season anyways, right? Treat yourself with a little shopping. Your new St. Louis leggings, Boston bracelets, Cincinnati sticky socks, Texas tank… get the picture? Chances are no one will have your new item at your regular studio, which makes it even more fun!
