Come to the Pure Barre studio in Sherman Oaks, CA, to transform your body and mind in one of our classes. Our studio is located near Ventura Boulevard and Woodman Avenue between Sherman Oaks and Studio City. We are just minutes from the Ventura Freeway (Exit 16), making Pure Barre the preferred workout destination for folks in Van Nuys, Encino or North Hollywood, and we are just minutes away from Los Angeles.
Be sure to wear long workout pants or capris. You’ll also need sticky socks (available for purchase in the studio if you need them). Every Pure Barre class starts with a warmup and stretching session in the middle of the studio. Next, we do arm workouts with light weights before heading to the ballet barre. The barre exercises will focus on toning and strengthening your thighs and seat. The class will wrap up with an abdominal workout followed by a cool-down period. Every class format is like this, but the trainers vary the music and exercises so that no two classes will ever be the same.
Owner Jamie Wells and her friendly staff of Pure Barre instructors are ready to lead you through every workout. All the weights, tension bands and other equipment for a Pure Barre workout are provided on-site. Don’t be afraid to ask questions because the instructors are there to guide you on your fitness journey.
