Our Pure Barre studio in the West Village in NYC is a neighborhood studio in the big city. Here you'll find a real community made up of a diverse set of 9-5 grinders, college students, and many other individuals who all seek to look and feel their best.
Pure Barre workouts are an intense, well-rounded set of full-body toning exercises. Starting with a warm-up in the center of the room, the class then moves on to a series of arm exercises. Then the action shifts to the barre, where a series of challenging, ballet-inspired exercises target and tone the legs, thighs and seat. After these moves comes ab work designed to define and strengthen your core, followed by a cooldown. Every class follows the same format, but the exercises and upbeat music are always changing. We keep it fresh so you'll experience a new workout every time!
Our motivational teachers both encourage and challenge you, helping you to modify exercises for your current fitness level while pushing you to go further. Once a week, Pure Foundations gives you the opportunity to learn how the Pure Barre technique works in a small group setting.
