Our Pure Barre studio is located right in the West Village in NYC, New York. We are a neighborhood studio in the big city where you'll find a real community among a diverse set of 9-5 grinders, college students, and more all seeking to look and feel their best.
Pure Barre classes are an intense, well-rounded set of full-body toning exercises. You'll start with a warm-up in the center of the room, then you'll move onto arm exercises. We'll then shift to the barre, where a series of challenging, ballet-inspired exercises will target and tone your legs and seat. After these moves, you'll do ab work designed to define and to strengthen your core, followed by a cooldown. While every class follows the same format, the exercises and upbeat music are always changing, so you'll experience a new workout every time!
You can expect to work with motivational trainers who will both encourage and push you while working out at our studio. Once a week, Pure Foundations gives you the opportunity to learn how the Pure Barre technique works in a small group setting. Pure Platform delivers an intense, cardio-inspired version of the classic Pure Barre workout.
