Did you do PB during your pregnancy?
I began my Pure Barre experience when Pure Barre opened in Germantown,TN in September, 2010. I was teaching and taking Pure Barre classes five to six days a week prior to my pregnancy. I continued taking and teaching classes all the way to the 37th week of my pregnancy. I did cut back on the amount of teaching/attending classes to 2 to 4 days a week toward the end of my pregnancy.

How did PB help you bounce back after your baby was born & did it work quickly?
Pure Barre helped me stay active during my pregnancy and I felt great all the way to my delivery day. It made me feel like I was doing the most I could to keep my body and muscles toned while my body was going through so many changes. I think staying in shape throughout my pregnancy with Pure Barre also helped me bounce back quickly after having my little girl. I was back at Pure Barre as soon as my doctor released me - 6 weeks after my delivery and was able to pick right back up where I left off. I believe that continuing Pure Barre throughout my pregnancy made it so much easier to jump right back in to an exercise program post pregnancy and I was able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and jeans in no time. I was back to wearing my pre-pregnancy clothes about 2 weeks after I delivered.

Why did you choose PB as your pre & post baby workout?
I chose to do Pure Barre as my pre/post pregnancy workout, not only because I'm an instructor, but because it is a great effective way to maintain a lean figure and stay active using the low impact isometric movements that provide great muscle toning - perfect during pregnancy and post-pregnancy as well. I believe Pure Barre is the perfect way to stay in shape during pregnancy since you can work at your own pace. I will continue the same regimen when I'm pregnant with my next child. Pure Barre is the most effective way to LIFT, TONE and BURN!!!!
