Eight weeks after Brook had her second baby, she took her first Pure Barre class. It was love at first tuck. She was intrigued, challenged both physically and mentally, and determined to master the technique. She has always lived an active life; tap dancing when young, competitive cheerleading in high school, teaching cheerleadering camps for the Universal Cheerleaders Association and training extensively as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer. Despite the hundreds of step and spinning classes she taught and 5k races she ran, nothing had a greater impact on her body in such a short amount of time than Pure Barre!
Brook has always had a passion to encourage others to live their best life possible. After high school, she moved with her family to Savannah, GA, obtained a degree in Physical Education and Health Promotion from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and went on to the University of Georgia to receive a Masters degree in Public Health. After graduate school, she practiced public health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Given the opportunity to move home, Brook is excited to teach the life-changing Pure Barre technique to the women of Savannah!
