Stephanie has studied and performed all forms of dance beginning at the youth level, up to the professional level. She is particularly proficient in ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Her love of dance led her to teach various styles of dance, as well as coaching a nationally ranked high school cheer squad.
Stephanie's passion and dedication to dance helped her earn a dance scholarship to Brigham Young University. Not long after, Stephanie had the honor of being selected to dance and perform with a professional dance company, Odyssey Dance Utah, where she was able to work with numerous highly acclaimed dance choreographers.
Stephanie's love for dance and overall physical fitness continued even as her focus shifted from full-time dancer to full-time mother. Stephanie discovered Pure Barre in 2007 following her second pregnancy as she was looking for a way to get quickly back into "pre-baby" shape. She was looking to try something different and unique - something combining physical fitness and dance. After taking just one class Stephanie fell in love with the Pure Barre technique and immediately saw the results. Stephanie began teaching classes at Pure Barre and particularly loved the interaction with the clients. She thoroughly enjoyed watching them leave class with a feeling of accomplishment.
As a mother of five children under the age of five, including triplets, Stephanie has seen the benefits of the Pure Barre technique, both on herself and her clients. She is looking forward to sharing this challenging and rewarding program with the Salt Lake City community.
