David KeilChief Executive Officer

David Keil Chief Executive Officer Pure Barre

Dave Keil joined Pure Barre in January 2017 and serves as CEO and board member. Prior to joining Pure Barre, Keil was CEO of The Honey Baked Ham Company, LLC where he combined three family-owned entities into a consolidated organization, established a fiduciary board, delivered an integrated strategy, significant cost synergies and accelerated growth. Prior to Honey Baked Ham, Keil spent 10 years each at Frito-Lay, General Mills and Ecolab.  His roles included President of Haagen-Dazs Shoppes, General Manager of Ecolab’s Healthcare business and leading the $8B Ecolab/Nalco integration. He most recently served as an advisor to private equity firms, business owners, multi-unit franchisees and large scale merger integration. Keil served on the board of Honey Baked Ham, Hosanna! Lutheran Church, and several non-profit organizations. He speaks widely on living on purpose, leading transformational change and has taught Mergers & Acquisitions courses at the MBA level. He received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. Dave is married with three grown children.

Carrie Rezabek DorrFounder and Chief Barre Officer

Carrie Dorr

Carrie Dorr is the founder and Chief Barre Officer of Pure Barre.  Inspired by her extensive experience as a dancer, performer and choreographer (alongside training in Pilates and fitness), Pure Barre was founded under Carrie’s mantra that your fitness program should work and should be fun! After earning a Business degree from Michigan State and a Law Degree from Wayne State, Carrie developed the Pure Barre technique, opening her first studio in Birmingham, MI in 2001. From there, she traveled all over the U.S. to open Pure Barre locations in different markets, and began franchising the concept in July 2009. The concept grew exponentially in a very short period of time, thanks to passionate clients and franchisees. As Pure Barre expanded, Carrie also created a popular line of DVDs and exercise equipment. Carrie remained active with Pure Barre until 2015, when she stepped back to explore other opportunities and passions. Carrie began advising and investing female-run startups and serves on numerous Boards.  In September 2016, Carrie created Life Smart, an online repository for resources and recommendations dedicated to giving women the tools to live a healthier, stronger, more empowered life. In 2017, Carrie returned to Pure Barre in the new role of Chief Barre Officer. Her comeback marks the beginning of Pure Barre Evolution, the next chapter of Pure Barre’s life, which renews the brand’s commitment to bringing world-class programming to the community. Carrie is a guest speaker on entrepreneurship and franchising for the MBA programs at the University of Southern California, Michigan State University, University of Colorado, YPO and EO. She holds a JD from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor’s in Business from Michigan State University. Carrie resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband Frank and their three kids Luke, Ruby and Ellie. They spend as much time as possible in Vail and enjoy biking, hiking, skiing and everything outdoors.

Griff LongChief Operations Officer

Griff Long Chief Operations Officer Pure Barre

Griff Long joined Pure Barre as Chief Operations Officer in 2017. With more than 20 years of global operations experience, he’s worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Hertz and start-ups like Zipcar. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations for SoulCycle, and prior to that was the Vice President of Operations for Equinox. Griff is no stranger to direct P&L management, market planning and analysis, sales and growth strategies, site startup, staffing, leadership development and global expansion strategy. He understands how to gather the voice of the customer and translate them into playbooks, toolkits, and resources to drive operational improvements in studio operations. If that weren’t enough, Griff is also a USAT Triathlon coach, CrossFit coach, and running coach. He's represented Team USA at the world championships and is 7-time IRONMAN finisher including the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona.

Valerie HudsonVice President, Product & Merchandising

Valerie Hudson VP Product & Merchandising Pure Barre

Valerie Hudson joined Pure Barre in May 2016 as Vice President of Product & Merchandising. Prior to Pure Barre, she was the Global Merchandising Director for Oakley where she led cross-functional product teams from seasonal briefings to product sell-in for all performance activewear categories. She has over 18 years of merchandising experience growing product categories in competitive environments and has worked for world-class brands such as Nike, Lululemon, and Nordstrom. Valerie received her MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. She lives in Denver with her husband and two amazingly adorable French Bulldogs.

John KershChief Development Officer

John Kersh Chief Development Officer Pure Barre

John Kersh joined Pure Barre in 2017 as Chief Development Officer. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of International Franchise Development for Self-Esteem Brands, the franchisor of healthy lifestyle brands Anytime Fitness and Waxing the City. In his eight years with Anytime Fitness, John grew their international footprint from a handful of gyms in Canada to over 1,000 locations in 25 countries. In addition, John spent 12 years working at IHRSA, the fitness industry trade association and three years developing a start-up franchise in Brazil called Citrus Gym. He is a member of the International Committee of the International Franchise Association and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University. John is married with two teenage girls.

Andy WrightChief Financial Officer

Andy Wright

Andy Wright joined the Pure Barre team in 2013 as Chief Financial Officer. In this role he is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, and information technology. Prior to joining Pure Barre, Andy was the Director of Finance and Asset Management for OTO Development, a hospitality company based in South Carolina that has developed and managed over 50 upscale hotels throughout the US. As part of the senior management team, Andy was involved with the development, operations, finances, and corporate strategy across all divisions. Prior to joining OTO, Andy held various consulting positions with IBM Global Services. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia. Andy is married and has three young children.

Julia BarclayVice President, Strategy & Business Development

Julia Barclay joined Pure Barre in August 2016. In her role, she’s responsible for defining Pure Barre’s strategic plan and for identifying and driving new lines of business. With more than 10 years of experience in strategy and finance, she’s worked at McKinsey & Company, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and UBS Investment Bank, advising Fortune 500 clients on their strategic plan, focused primarily on growth. Most recently, Julia drove operations innovation at DaVita Healthcare to support line of business growth. She holds an MBA and MHA from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Julia lives in Denver with her husband Hampton and is the proud owner of a beautiful Goldendoodle, Chloe.

Mike KormelinkVice President, Real Estate, Construction & Design

Mike Kormelink Pure Barre VP Real Estate Construction & Design

Mike Kormelink joined Pure Barre in May 2013. In his role as Vice President of Real Estate Construction, and Design, he leverages a national network of broker and landlord contacts to assist franchisees with identifying a location for their studios. Since joining Pure Barre, he’s helped more than 180 owners find their studio spot. Prior to joining the team, he worked as the Real Estate Manager at Save-A-Lot, focused on growth in the southeastern United States for corporate and licensed stores. Having spent more than 10 years in commercial real estate, he has experience with market planning, site selection, lease/contract negotiating, sales forecasting, and demographic analysis. Mike has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Geography from Carthage College, where he was also a four-year member of the football team. He’s a huge fan of an active lifestyle and spends time on the golf course and at the gym (and studio) when he’s not in the office. Mike resides in Charlotte.

Katelyn DiGiorgioDirector of Training & Quality Assurance

Katelyn DiGiorgio joined the Pure Barre team in 2010 as a teacher in Denver, CO and began working with the corporate team as a Master Teacher Trainer in 2013. Enthusiastic to help grow the Pure Barre brand and lifestyle, Katelyn moved to San Diego, CA to open and manage a studio. Now based in Denver, CO, she is responsible for the overall development of Pure Barre’s training and quality assurance programs as the Director of Training & Quality Assurance. Prior to joining Pure Barre, Katelyn worked for ADP, a national provider of business outsourcing solutions, as a District Manager responsible for consulting small businesses on technical applications that enhance processes and efficiency. At ADP, Katelyn gained exposure to the inner-workings of small business operations. Katelyn also holds an extensive background in dance and fitness. She earned her ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification, and taught various types of classes before eventually finding Pure Barre in 2009. Through this experience she developed thorough practice in teaching methods and techniques that provide positive motivation and enthusiasm to help others reach their fitness goals. In her role, Katelyn is excited to share her experience and knowledge of the Pure Barre technique with others in order to help them grow as teachers and inspire clients across the nation.

Jaime WallExecutive Chairwoman

Jaime Wall Executive Chairwoman of the Board

Jaime Wall joined the Pure Barre team as an investor in 2012 and currently serves as Executive Chairwoman of the Board. For the past 15 years, she has focused on working with multi-unit/franchise businesses, including boutique fitness concepts and specialty retailers. Jaime is also a Managing Director at private investment firm WJ Partners, LLC where she is responsible for deal sourcing, executing investments, and portfolio management. Prior to joining WJ Partners and Pure Barre, she worked in private equity investments in Charlotte, New York and Atlanta. Jaime holds a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College, a M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and is a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE). She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Pet Valu and is a Liberty Fellow of the Aspen Institute. Jaime took her first Pure Barre class in May 2012 and hasn't looked back. She currently takes class 4-5 days a week and recently reached her 750 Club milestone. She is married and has a daughter, Rose, and boy/girl twins, Rutledge and Adair.
