Those who live or work in Bethesda, MD have the chance to experience high intensity, low impact workouts at our Bethesda Pure Barre studio. We are convenient to several neighborhoods, including Chevy Chase, Kenwood, Friendship Heights, Westboro, and North Bethesda.

Our central location in the Shoppes of Bethesda shopping center off of Hampden Lane makes us an easy place to find. Just look for us above Soul Cycle on Elm Street! Our classes are designed to fit into your busy life. Even better, we validate parking for up to two hours in front of our studio!

A Pure Barre workout focuses on building your arm, leg, and core muscles for improved fitness and a stronger, more toned body. You will go through various exercises, such as lifts and squats, that will lengthen your muscles and increase your strength. You can push your muscles to fatigue in every Pure Barre workout and still come out feeling energized.

Our teachers are more than willing to help you get acclimated to Pure Barre, and can provide the guidance and encouragement you need to go further on your life-changing journey to fitness. We offer a number of specialized classes, including Breaking Down the Barre or Pure Foundations for beginners. Our intensives provide a monthly challenge with a focus on a particular muscle group.

We are open to people at all fitness levels and offer modified workouts to meet your individual needs. Beyond our comprehensive exercise routine, you'll also get access to a friendly community filled with people like you who are working to get into their best shape.

Studio Manager

Pure Barre Bethesda

Summary of Role

PB DCA, LLC seeks a driven, health-minded individual to assist with managing its Bethesda, Maryland location.  The Studio Manager will provide strategic leadership not only in day to day operations for the studio, but in the long term strategy to add value to the business from a performance and client experience perspective.  This full-time position will report to the Studio Owner/Operating Partner.



  • Manage studio schedule and staffing needs; hiring studio support staff and instructors as needed to maintain studio schedule.

  • Connect with potential clients through networking, regular grassroots marketing and word of mouth to drive them into the

  • Create a culture that motivates, inspires and transforms lives in your

  • Manage follow-up efforts with existing and potential clients to promote membership sales.

  • Create corporate and community partnerships and manage periodic follow-up with contacts.

  • Respond to and address client issues, escalating to Operating Partner when necessary.

  • Maintain studio retail by observing displays of products, restocking shelves with inventory, observing inventory levels, and reordering when levels appear low.

  • Plan, coordinate and execute studio

  • Proactively create, execute, and manage PR and Social Media

  • Utilize point of sale technology for scheduling classes, retail sales, and analyzing results of overall studio

  • Be an expert on the Pure Barre technique and teach pure barre classes exceptionally well (don’t worry – we’ll provide your technique training!).

  • Coach front desk and instructor teams, practice with teacher trainees, and perform teacher evaluations to ensure technique is being delivered consistently and effectively.



  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • MS Office or Windows based software required.

  • Social Media Savvy; both personally and professionally.

  • Desire to provide outstanding customer experiences.

  • Studio/retail management experience a plus.


  • Active lifestyle; already living and breathing a health‐centered life both physically and mentally.

  • Passionate about people and

  • A connector – willing to strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone.

  • Creative and ready to think outside of the box to build a brand and

  • Ability to work at least one weekend day per week, or two weekends per month.
