When you're ready to challenge your body and get fit, our Pure Barre center in the River North neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, is here to help! We offer high-intensity but low-impact workouts that will tone and strengthen your body as you increase your flexibility and endurance.
Our full-body workouts begin with a series of warm-up stretches to get your muscles ready. We then move through some weightlifting to tone your upper body. Then, at the ballet barre, you will do a variety of exercises that are designed to tone and strengthen your thighs and seat. Next up are some toning and tightening exercises for your abs, which are followed by a cooldown. Although the flow of each class is the same, we vary the specific exercises and music so that no two workouts are alike.
The teachers at our studio are encouraging and upbeat, and help to provide a sense of community during each class. In our supportive environment, your teacher will guide and coach you through each exercise and help you with posture and form.
Our studio is proud to offer classes that address specific needs, including our cardio-centric Empower class and our Intensives specialty classes, each of which challenges a specific muscle group. Other specialty classes include Foundations, Breaking Down the Barre, and private lessons.
People at any point in the journey to fitness are welcome to join us. Beginners gain encouragement and inspiration that helps the keep going, but even intermediate and advanced athletes find Pure Barre challenging because you can work at different levels within our workout classes.
