about our location

When you're ready to challenge your body and get fit, our Pure Barre center in the River North neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, is here for you. We offer intense but low-impact workouts that will tone, strengthen, and trim your body. We are conveniently located at the intersection of Madison and Racine streets. Our studio is also convenient to the suburbs of Oak Park, Berwyn, and McKinley Park.

Our full-body workouts begin with a series of warmup stretches for your muscles. We then move through some weightlifting to tone your upper body. At the ballet barre, you will do a variety of exercises that are designed to tone and strengthen your hips, thighs, and seat. Next up is some toning and tightening exercises for your abdomen, which are followed by a cooldown. Although the flow of each class is the same, we vary the specific exercises and music so that no two workouts are alike.

We have selected instructors who provide a sense of community during each class. In our supportive environment, the instructors will guide and coach you through each exercise and help you with posture and form. Our location is proud to offer specialty classes, including Platform, which is our cardio class. We also offer Intensives, each of which challenges a specific muscle group. Our other specialty classes include Foundations, Breaking Down the Barre, and private lessons.

People at any point in the journey to fitness are welcome to join us. Beginners gain encouragement and inspiration. Intermediate and advanced athletes find our workouts challenging.
