Makenna first found Pure Barre in San Diego, CA while attending San Diego State University. After moving to NYC she decided to take the next step and become an instructor while pursuing Musical Theatre. Makenna loves Pure Barre for the community it gave her and also the mental & physical changes she saw in herself.
