Hey everyone! I'm Annie, a Houston native, born and raised here in Kingwood. After high school, I went to Texas State University, where I graduated in 2017 with a BFA in dance studies and a minor in psychology. I found my love of movement through dance, which has been a constant in my life since toddler-hood, and once I finished university, I came back home to teach at another Kingwood community staple, Rowland Ballard. I found that, though I loved my job teaching and cultivating the love of dance for new dancers, I wasn't doing anything for myself anymore, and that needed to change! I found Pure Barre Kingwood in November of 2022, and it was instant love. A fantastic challenge for my body, and 50 minutes to shut my mind off and get to work just taking care of me! Once the opportunity to join this wonderful team presented itself, there was no doubt in my mind I wanted to make it happen, and thanks to amazing leaders like Cari and Jana, and the entire supportive Kingwood staff, here I am! When I'm not here getting you through the challenge of PB Classic class, I am either teaching the little ones to dance, snuggling my precious cat Ophelia, or winding down playing some video games! I'm so excited to Lift, Tone, Burn with you, see you at the barre!
