Hey! My name is Courtney B and I was raised right here in Kingwood. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2020 with my BS in biology and headed off to Memphis to join Teach For America 2021 corps where I spent the last two years teaching biology and pursuing my MPH. I started my Pure Barre journey a little over a year ago in Memphis, Tennessee and after falling in love with the classes and the people I knew I wanted to become an instructor. As they say, all roads lead home, and now I’m back in Houston as a full time medical student at SHSU and jumping on the mic to share my favorite part of each day with y’all! You can often times catch me doubling up classes in a day and giggling with my mom in the lobby as we try to take together whenever we can. When I’m not at Pure Barre you can find me reading by the pool, out for a run, or procrastinating my school work with a little online shopping (I find the best deals I promise!!) I am beyond excited to Lift, Tone, Burn together, see you at the barre!
