Where are you originally from?
I’m originally from Springfield, Illinois. But I’ve been in the Carolina’s since 2012 so consider this area home now!
How did your Pure Barre Journey Start?
I took a handful of pure barre classes throughout the years but my serious pure barre journey started with a pop up in January 2018 with Pure Barre Greensboro. I’ve been taking regularly ever since and started teaching in spring of 2019!
How long have you been with Pure Barre Winston-Salem?
Since fall of 2022 when I moved to Winston from
GSO.
What is your favorite part about Pure Barre?
That it never stops challenging me, mentally and physically! That and the music—you can frequently find me listening to pure barre playlists outside of the studio because I love it so much.
What is your favorite class format?
Classic—it’s the OG! But I’m very excited to check out Define and have a feeling it might become a new fave!
What do you do when you aren’t a Pure Barre (other jobs/hobbies, etc)
I am a family medicine-obstetrics physician. I work in Wilkesboro at a baptist owned hospital. Very lucky that I get to bring lots of cute babies into this world!
What is one fun fact about yourself that you’d like to share?
I have two dogs and two cats—all are named after literary characters.
