Where are you originally from?
I’m originally from a small town in West Virginia but we moved to Greensboro, NC when I was in middle school.
How did your Pure Barre Journey Start?
A friend from college was opening a Pure Barre in another state and when I congratulated her, she mentioned that one was also opening in Winston Salem and suggested I look into teaching.
How long have you been with Pure Barre Winston-Salem?
Nearly 11 years.
What is your favorite part about Pure Barre?
My favorite part of Pure Barre is the fact that it’s time I get for myself (I have to be present in the room) during a busy day! I love the focused work and the amount of effort required!
What is your favorite class format?
My favorite format is Empower- I love a good sweat and the bump of the music. I’m pretty excited about Define too!
What do you do when you aren’t a Pure Barre (other jobs/hobbies, etc)
I have a 13 year old daughter, so much of my time is spent keeping up with her. I also like to try new recipes and I love plants- both indoor and outdoor plants.
What is one fun fact about yourself that you’d like to share?
A fun fact about me is that I cheered for my husband’s Pop Warner Football Team when we’re kids! We’ve known each other that long!
